Blogs For Life 2007Following is an email from Tim of prolifeblogs.com.

Dear Pro-Life Friends,

It’s time to make final plans for Blogs4life, the second annual conference of pro-life bloggers. The event is hosted by the Family Research Council on Monday, Jan. 22, prior to and after the March for Life in Washington DC and will be show live, over the internet.

The conference program has expanded and is filled with noted pro-life leaders including:

Tony Perkins (President, Family Research Council)

Ramesh Ponnuru (National Review Online Senior Editor)

David Prentice (Senior Fellow, Family Research Council)

Peter Samuelson (President, Americans United for Life)

Joe Scheidler (Founder, Pro-Life Action League) – tentative

Paul Schenk (National Pro-Life Action Center)

Bobby Schindler (Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation)

Jill Stanek (WorldNetDaily Columnist, Pro-life Speaker)

The morning session will feature Senator Sam Brownback (R-KS) and Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA)!

The afternoon session includes a panel discussion, moderated by the FRC’s Charmaine Yoest, on the New Media. During this time you can expect to interact with a lively group of pro-life bloggers, videocast experts, media consultants and movie makers. Click here for the complete schedule.

Blogs4Life is an excellent opportunity for individuals and organizations to network with pro-life bloggers and develop an understanding of how weblog technology can be used to strategically promote life and transform ideas into action as we move toward a post-Roe America.

You can show up at the door for all or part of the conference but we would be most grateful if you register before the event so that the FRC can make adequate accommodations for food and beverages.

  1. Christian Godfollower says:

    Subject: FW: Proposition 2 Opponents

    Date: Mon, 27 Nov 2006 10:52:32 -0600

    FROM MISSOURI —

Those of you whom voted “no” on Proposition 2, to save the lives of the unborn babies (cloned embryos) from the murderous hands of scientists, are no doubt upset and outraged by the passing of the amendment.

My family and I, being Christians know that Satan is attacking America

    hard.

Can or cannot you sense the bloodshed of those innocent lives?

If you are one of those who prayed and are still praying for our leaders to head this state in the direction of God’s will, why don’t we wear a red ribbon to show our respect for those innocent lives?

We did what we could by voting, but it kinda’ makes you not want to live

here when the representatives don’t represent your values, the very values which were the reasons the United States was founded in the first place.

We will still continue to pray for this country, and our states, but since

everyone who disagrees with the passing doesn’t have the resources to pack

up and get out, we can at least grieve for the children who are being sent

to Heaven prematurely, now by the masses.

Pray about it. Think about it. In

Christ, A voice in the wilderness

Please DO NOT allow this to happen in your state. Tell others, as our

family did, and Vote against embryonic stem cell research. (Also titled

    Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer)

Feel free to wear a red ribbon in your state for each one of God’s babies’ lives,

taken in the name of science.(some of us are wearing Babies Feet pins to hold the ribbon; in Missouri to support Sen. Matt Bartle and Rep. Jim Lembke’s resolution to clarify the definition of, and truely ban human cloning. Known as SJR/HJR. There will be a Pro-Life rally at Missouri’s Capitol on March, 7, 2007. Please attend if you live near. :-))

America has better resourses than to sacrifice our children as medicine,

and behave like a third-world country.

Pray about it. Think about it. Look into it.

    In

Christ, A voice in the wilderness

Luke Chapt. 11:17 “But he, knowing their thoughts,

said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself

is brought to desolation; and a house divided against

    a house falleth.”

Gospel of John Chpt. 6:27 “Labor not for the meat

which perisheth, but for the meat which endureth unto

everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you:

for him hath God the Father sealed.”

17:9 “I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for

them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.”

& 15-18 “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of

the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou

hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them

    into the world.”

Luke 18:27 “And he said, The things which are impossible with men are

    possible with God.”

  2. It is fortunate I read blogs before I have breakfast, or the sight of your sugary, over-cute cherub logo would have caused me to lose it.

  3. Ohh, there goes dinner… I just read Christian’s post. Normally I wouldn’t dignify such nonsense, but I happen to be in a very bad mood right now because my sister has been picking fights all afternoon. So,

Find me a verse in the bible which condemns this research. Please. Just one. Trust me on this, there isn’t. No, ‘Thal Shalt Not Murder’ doesn’t count, because it doesn’t specify what qualifies as murder.

There are only two verses in the bible which could be applied to embryonic stem cell research or early abortion. And they are both quite a stretch. I dont have the numbers on me, but one is the ‘in the womb I knew ye’ verse, which is usless without specifying a precise time. The other is an OT law which actually suggests that an accidentially induced miscarrage is not equivilent to an accidential death of an adult.
