The Dude was with us at CPAC today as the youngest blogger on the scene. He snagged an interview with Mitt Romney. . . and gives us Mitt’s take on bloggers vs. the mainstream media here.

UPDATE: Here’s the Dude blogging down the row from Captain Ed and Michelle Malkin.

    Dear Dr. Yoest,

No doubt you get a LOT of correspondence, and, being a freelance writer myself, I know how correspondence can go unnoticed or unattended to for no good reason other than the busy-ness of life

However, I want to say that I sent you an email earlier today asking if you might be able to offer an opinion, as a mother and someone involved at a high level with the Family Research Council, as to how you feel about Ann Coulter’s remarks about John Edwards at CPAC.

The reason I’m leaving this comment is because I see that one of your children was with you at CPAC, blogging even. I think that’s excellent!

However, it also reminded me of what Michelle Malkin wrote about Ann Coulter’s presentation and how Ms. Malkin was horrified to think of how kids in the audience, and parents with their kids in the audience, might be impacted by Ms. Coulter’s choice of words and presentation.

This is no backdoor question of you. I’ve read your piece about how you believe that there are no cookie-cutter answers for women in our generation balancing priorities. Based on my own experience, I believe that’s excellent advice.

So, sincerely – how do you feel about Ms. Coulter’s presentation at CPAC about John Edwards? It seems like a rather loud silence that you’ve not spoken up more about it, nor has the Family Research Council.

Thank you for taking this question in the sincere vein its intended. I look forward to your response.
