    Living in New Mexico I couldn’t agree with you more Charmaine, where the tribal casinos drain the reservation as well as the non-indian population in the region of it’s hard-earned funds. Here in Albuquerque we have 7 “gaming” establishments within 70 minutes drive, and all of them advertise heavily on local media. I wish more people knew of God’s wrath concerning ill-gained wealth. How many lottery winners are now in debt? This story is sad. God Bless!

    Since it could be argued that people who gamble aren’t the smartest people in the world, then it must be the god-given duty of the government to get a share of that money. I think they could spend it on, say, anti-gambling ads and Gamblers Anonymous meetings, rather than not legalizing it in the first place.
