Brains On Fire

Spike comes to us from Big D, deep in the Lone Star state, where he was born and raised. In addition to spending his summers punching cattle, Spike graduated from Baylor University with degrees in Environmental Studies and Journalism. He then bounced around the country from Colorado to Missouri to Georgia and finally landed in South Carolina. Spike began his career here as a copywriter, crafting compelling stories for such clients as BMW Manufacturing, Dagger Kayaks, Pearl Izumi, Perception Kayaks and Yakima. And while he still enjoys wordsmithing, his purpose now is to embrace the kindred spirits that approach Brains on Fire looking for naming and identity help. In other words, he’s the Firestarter.

Spike is also the voice of Brains on Fire. In addition to doing his best to reflect the spirit of this place, when you send an email through the website or call to ask just what goes on here, Spike is the guy on the other end.
