Person of the Year?

Who do you think should be Person of the Year? Tell us here!

A site I’ve just added to my blogroll: Stop the ACLU gives us the ACLU’s nominations for Person of the Year.

Take a look. Their choice is typical of the ACLU. And despicable.

Thanks to Jay for keeping the spotlight on their anti-Americanism.

Time actually has a poll up — George Bush and Condi are up against Mother Nature and . . . Valerie Plame! Go vote!

Then come back here and give us your nominations!

On behalf of someone I admire very much, my nomination for 2005 “Person” of the Year are – – “the volunteers and men and women who risked their lives performing life saving search and rescue missions during and after Hurricane Katrina’s devastation of the Gulf Coast and throughout this record breaking season of incredible natural disasters”.

    Thank you.

Bernadette Mimura the Filipina mother who discovered she had breast cancer a month into her pregnancy and refused life saving treatment, knowing it would harm her child. She died a month after her child Nathan was born.

Like the American soldier, she sacrificed her own life so someone else could have their future. She wasn’t ‘anybody’ but her story can inspire anyone.
